Hello! I'm Elesha Herring and I am a print & web designer. I began at the Art Institute Online in 2009 and transferred to the Fort Worth campus in 2011 after moving from Arkansas. I was working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design but have not been able to complete it.
However, I have since learned more about web design and development, illustration, and photography from various online "schools" and tutors such as Udemy, Skillshare, David Molinar, Brad Hussey, and the Adobe Live Streams. While these are not traditional learning methods, I feel that I learned more from these (and researching until I figure it out myself) than I learned during her time at the Art Institutes.
I have worked as a designer since 2012, as a freelancer since 2014, and as a design tutor since 2015. I am adept at aligning designs with brand values and delivering on clients' vision and requirements. Additionally, I am well-versed in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign as well as coding languages of HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP. I am looking to return to design after a personal hiatus.
When I'm not working, I enjoy watching "nerdy" shows & movies and playing D&D.
